These Ghosts Are Family by Maisy Card is a multigenerational novel that centers on a man who faked his death, stole another man’s identity, and the consequences of his decision on his family.
It’s Throwback Thursday, and in today’s episode, I’m sharing an interview with author Maisy Card to talk about her debut novel, These Ghosts Are Family. These Ghosts Are Family is a multigenerational novel, and we meet Stanford Solomon, a man with a big secret. The truth is he is Abel Paisley, a man who faked his death and stole another man’s identity. Through the novel, which spans two centuries and eight generations, we see the consequences of Abel’s decision on the Paisley family.
This interview was originally recorded in June 2020.
