More About The 2023 Fall Reading Guide

My goal when creating this guide and curating this fall reading list is to help you avoid the overwhelm by all the new books coming out this season.  So, while this isn’t an exhaustive list, you can trust that each and every book in the guide is a book that I’ve read and loved, and now I’m recommending them to you.

To help you find books that match your taste, interests, and current reading mood, I’ve organized the books into categories and included an elevator pitch that I hope will pique your interest.  But I’m also aware that some of these books tackle heavy themes, so if you need trigger warnings, please email me at hello[at]bibliolifestyle[dot]com, and I will advise you accordingly.  You can also use The StoryGraph to search for trigger warnings as well.

You’ve Downloaded The Guide, You’ve Made Your Fall Reading List, Now What?

You’ve diligently scrolled through the fall reading guide and have created a list of books you can’t wait to dive into.  Now, it’s time to figure out how to make the most of your fall reading experience.  Here are some tips to help you maximize your fall reading experience and get the most out of your time with these fantastic books.

Consider setting the scene with your favorite beverage: maybe you’re a fan of pumpkin spice lattes or mocha, or you’re adventurous and trying the new apple crisp macchiato.  Either way, consider including your favorite seasonal-themed beverage during your reading time.  Another great way to set the scene is by lighting your favorite fall-themed candle and bringing out a cozy blanket.

Think about switching up your reading spot and venturing to a different corner or room in your home.  If you’re feeling more adventurous, consider a nearby park to enjoy the changing fall colors or spend some time reading at the library or bookstore before bringing your books home.

Don’t forget to take breaks between reads and allow yourself time to digest each story fully.  With these simple tips, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the joys of fall reading fully.
