Summer 2023 Programming: Expanding Our Bookish Horizons!
In today’s episode, I’m thrilled (and a tad nervous) to announce our summer 2023 podcast programming. This year has been experimental for me and the podcast, but I hope you enjoy what I have in store for us this summer.
We started the year with Throwback Thursday segments featuring interviews with authors recorded before the podcast began, as well as sharing audio from the inaugural Epigraph Literary Festival. Speaking of the festival, if you missed any sessions, make sure to check out the replays!
Summer 2023 Programming: Expanding Our Bookish Horizons!
Now, let’s talk about our new podcast programming for this summer. Mondays will continue to feature author interviews, while Wednesdays will be short solo shows where I’ll share reading tips, themed listicles, lifestyle how-tos, and other inspirations. The biggest change, however, is happening on Thursdays.
Throwback Thursdays will be on pause, and instead, I’ll be bringing you non-fiction author interviews to balance out the fiction-focused feed. We’ll cover captivating memoirs, biographies, cookbooks, home and gardening books, self-help, adventure, travel, and more. On the off chance that I can’t find a non-fiction author for a Thursday episode, I’ll be sharing throwback interviews with booksellers from all around the world.
So, get excited for new bookish content to explore on the feed, and please share the podcast with your friends and family, and leave a rating and review. Thanks for being here, and I’m looking forward to talking with you again soon. Bye for now!
New Summer 2023 Podcast Programming
Mondays: Author Interviews
Expect the same engaging author interviews that you’ve grown to love. Nothing is changing here – we’ll continue to bring you conversations with authors about their latest fiction books.
Wednesdays: Solo Shows
Tune in for short solo shows where I’ll share reading tips, themed listicles, lifestyle how-tos, and other inspiration. This is a new addition to the podcast, designed to offer even more valuable content for our listeners.
Thursdays: Non-Fiction Author Interviews
The biggest change in our summer programming is the introduction of non-fiction author interviews. We’ll be featuring captivating memoirs, biographies, cookbooks, home and gardening books, self-help, adventure, travel, and more. This change aims to bring more balance to our podcast and provide a wider variety of content for our listeners.
Alternate Thursdays: Throwback Bookseller Interviews
In the event that we can’t find a non-fiction author for a Thursday episode, we’ll be sharing throwback interviews with booksellers from all around the world. These interviews will offer insight into the world of bookselling and showcase booksellers from various locations.
Get ready to expand your literary horizons with our summer 2023 podcast programming. Don’t forget to share the podcast with your friends and family, and leave a rating and review to help us reach even more listeners. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing this exciting new content with you. Happy reading!
